Every Permit issued has a list of required Inspections and it is the Property Owner's responsibility to ensure Inspection Requests are called in a minimum of 24 hours before the required Inspection time.

Footings formed prior to placement of concrete |

Foundation |
Completion of foundation, dampproofing, weeping tile and drainage layer prior to backfill |
| 3 |
Outside Services |
Completion of water service, sanitary and storm sewer laterals from the propoerty line prior to backfill |
| 4 |
Underground Plumbing |
Completion of interior plumbing drains and vents below the basement floor slab prior to application of granular "B" fill |
| 5 |
Framing |
Completion of all structural framing, heating, ventilation and electrical services |
| 6 |
Aboveground Plumbing |
Completion of all interior waste, vent and water piping and pressure test |
| 7 |
Fireplace & Wood Stoves Rough-In |
Completion of chimney, smoke chamber, damper control, combustion air vent and hearth prior to completion of interior face brick |
| 8 |
Insulation |
Completion of insulation vapour/air barrier prior to application of interior finishes |
| 9 |
Final Plumbing |
Completion of installation of all fixtures and final smoke test prior to occupancy |
| 10 |
Occupancy Permit |
Completion of all life health and safety measures, septic disposal system, well, heating and electrical systems prior to occupancy |

Final Building |
Completion of all non-life health and fire safety code requirements (finish grading, caulking, eavetroughs, finish flooring, basement insulation, etc.) |
