Corporate Strategic Plan
The purpose of the Corporate Strategic Plan is twofold. Firstly, by virtue of working together as a team, the Mayor, Township Councillors and Senior Management representatives have collectively developed consensus as to the way in which the Township’s vision should unfold during the elected officials term in office. 

Secondly, by developing the vision, additional requisite pieces of an overall strategic direction have been identified, including a mission for the Township, a set of core values that will guide the Township’s behaviour, a set of programs with achievable outcomes to aspire to, a set of services that support the program outcomes, and finally an action plan that will achieve, at least in part, achievement of the overall vision.

OUR VISION - Township of Centre Wellington, a diverse community of communities that:

  • Celebrates its people,
  • Honours its heritage and history,
  • Achieves a sustainable economy,
  • Cherishes the rivers that run through it,
  • Promotes the natural environment, and
  • Meets community expectations by delivering maximum service.

OUR MISSION - To provide infrastructure to transport people, goods and services;

  • To protect persons and property from injury or accidents;
  • To foster active bodies and engaged minds;
  • To attract business investment;
  • To protect / enhance property;
  • To protect / enhance the environment;
  • To recognize people and their rights; and
  • To operate in a manner that encourages efficient and effective delivery of services in support of maximizing program goals. 

OUR CORE VALUES - The Township’s employees are:  

  • Adaptable – we are prepared to manage future change;
  • Empowered – we have clearly defined roles allowing for immediate decision and action, and we have clearly defined expectations of those roles;
