Welcome to the Township of Centre Wellington! Whether you plan to make your home here, work in Centre Wellington or visit our community, I invite you to explore the natural beauty of our rural areas, the unique shops and boutiques in the communities of Elora and Fergus and the magnificent shoreline of the Grand River as it winds its way through our township.
We offer a diversity of recreational and cultural activities for your leisure time. The trails along the river and throughout the countryside provide a wonderful opportunity for family outings. Our many Special Events throughout the year offer opportunities for community involvement and working together. You will find the people of this community welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

Process for Certificates
If you would like to request a certificate from Mayor Joanne Ross-Zuj to recognize a special milestone or accomplishment please call Lynda Gottfried at (519) 846-9691 ext. 229 or
by email
with your request.
Generally, certificates are issued for birthdays of 80 years or more and anniversaries of 50 years or more, however, other special requests will be considered. The Mayor is also happy to issue a certificate for a significant accomplishment by an individual or a group/team.
