In Centre Wellington we are a very diverse and well rounded population. Listed below are some quick facts and highlights about our community.

The Township of Centre Wellington is comprised of 27,569 residents as of a survey done in 2009 by the Wellington Waterloo Community Futures Development.

We have a very unique Labour Force spanning over most industry fields.

We in Centre Wellington rely predominately on driving in cars, trucks, or vans and do not have an extensive public transit system in place yet. 9% of residents bike/walk to work or rely upon other means of transportation (taxis/car pools, etc.).

We are blessed with well-educated residents. Over 60% of our total Labour Force is working on post-secondary designations.

Over 19,980 of our 27,569 residents are employed and earning some sort of income. Median house hold income in the province is $69,740.

Almost 84% of residents own their homes. Only 16.29% of residents rent their dwellings.

We are truly a four-season community with average daily temperatures that compare to other regions.
