Discover your creative side at the Elora Centre for the Arts, which hosts many summer events such as Art in the Yard, Riverfest and the Elora Fergus Studio Tour. As fall ushers in an explosion of colour, October features Sensational Elora – Festival of the Senses. This award winning festival features the renowned music, art, drama, film, food, scenery and architecture of historic Elora including our Sensational Soup Off – an empty bowls project held annually on Thanksgiving Monday. Spirits and ghosts are welcome during October’s Monster Month. You will find the streets filled with locally crafted spooky monsters, lantern tours and a monster parade. Winter is a magical time when snow and frost paint the trees, and icicles as tall as a house form throughout the gorge. Every season offers something new and beautiful for visitors and locals alike.
