The primary role of the Finance department is to manage the Township's financial resources in a fiscally responsible manner. The Department's responsibilities include the receipt and expenditure of Township funds, maintaining the Township's accounting and other financial records, budget development, payroll & employee benefits administration and year-end financial reporting. The Department also provides Information Services to all Township Departments, which includes the procurement of hardware and software, network, server and workstation management and support, database design and administration, training, business systems analysis and design, web site design and management, and programming. The Finance department is located at the Municipal office in Elora.
The Finance Department is located on the first floor in the main municipal building.
