​The Centre Wellington Volunteer Fire Rescue Department has two stations based in Fergus and Elora.

Emergency response in Centre Wellington operates on a three tiered response system, for this reason, the Fire Department is equipped to deal with various emergencies including water rescue, high level rescue, medical assistance, fire prevention, fire suppression as well as automobile accidents.

The Centre Wellington Fire Rescue Department is committed to providing timely professional emergency response.
