 BT Corner Project

In the spring of 2008, Heritage Centre Wellington embarked on a project to honour one of the Township's most influential families.  At the corners of Bridge Street, Queen Street West and St. David Street South in Fergus the committee proposes to create a park called "BT Corner" to commemorate the unique contribution of the Beatty family to the economic and social development of our community.

The park will be a fully accessible meeting place with benches, walkways, flowerbeds and interpretive plaques outlining the significant influences the Beatty family has had on Centre Wellington.  The project was launched with an official unveiling of the BT Corner entry sign feature on June 20th, 2009 as part of the Centre Wellington Doors Open event.

Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $20.00.  Please clearly indicate that the donation is for the
 "BT Corner Project"

Become a part of history by purchasing an engraved Donor Stone or sponsor one of five unique wrought iron benches.  All Donor Stones become a permanent part of BT Corner as a lasting reminder of your support and generosity.
