Due to a high level of interest from Centre Wellington residents in a variety of programs, the Parks and Recreation Department works hard year-round planning, coordinating and implementing a wide array of recreational and leisure-based programs. These programs are made possible through the help of dedicated volunteers and paid staff. Efforts are being made to include all programs of interest, however, only those programs with sufficient participant support and interest can successfully be operated by the Parks and Recreation Department. Residents are welcome to voice their interests and desire to help at all times. Examples of current programs that are being offered by the Parks and Recreation Department include the Children's Summer Program, the annual March Break Madness Program, the Leader-In-Training Program, a variety of minor sports, Aquatics programs, Fitness and Seniors Centre programs.
