CENTRE WELLINGTON – Thanks to the Downtown Public WiFi Project, residents and visitors to Centre Wellington can now connect to free outdoor WiFi in our Elora and Fergus downtown cores!

Through the Township’s Tourism Strategy, ongoing partnerships with the downtown Business Improvement Area’s and Regional Tourism Organization 4 (RT04), it became apparent that this was a priority for our community.  By offering free WiFi to our residents and visitors, our story, will organically be shared and communicated through social media.  Access to maps, directions, finding a unique downtown store, restaurant hours and information about what to do in Centre Wellington will be much easier utilizing the free WiFi.

“Being digitally connected is important to many of our residents and visitors” said Mayor Kelly Linton.  “By allowing those in our downtown core the ability to connect quickly and simply, we are making it easier for them to find the information they need to get around CW.  This initiative supports tourism and economic prosperity”.
