Call for Talent: Open Stage at the Fergus Grand Theatre
CENTRE WELLINGTON – Hey Centre Wellington, have you got talent? Of course you do - lots of it! Here’s your chance to show it off. On Sunday, September 25th, the Fergus Grand Theatre is pleased to present “Just Play,” an open-stage, all-ages showcase of local talent, starring you!
The theatre is looking for aspiring singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, actors, stand-up comedians, anyone who has a performance in them that they would like to share. Participants will get 20 minutes of stage time, at no cost, with basic technical support, to showcase whatever they’ve got. Individuals, organizations, and even groups of friends are all welcome to apply. No previous performance experience is necessary, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Content must be suitable for an all-ages audience. The performance itself will be a free event, open to all.
Spaces have already begun to fill for the 2pm showcase, but the theatre can add a morning show and an evening show if there is sufficient demand. Interested persons should contact Theatre Coordinator Eric Goudie at 519-787-1981, or at egoudie@centrewellington.ca.
