There are a variety of indoor recreation opportunities at the CW Sportsplex, Elora Community Centre and the Victoria Park Seniors Centre.  Click on the accordion files below to view these.

Prior to attending an activity, you will be required to complete a COVID-19 self screening.  Please visit to complete the screening.  If you do not complete the self screening, you will be screened by staff.  


Indoor Pickleball is back at the CW Sportsplex! Pre-Registration is required. Double play permitted. More information and the schedule can be found here.

The outdoor tennis courts at the CW Sportsplex are open April - October (weather permitting). Pickleball court lines have been painted on the tennis courts. Pickleball players are welcome to use the Sportsplex Courts during public hours free of charge. 


 Fitness Classes

MOSSA Fitness classes are being held at the Elora Community Centre. We have a variety of amazing MOSSA fitness classes to suit your fitness abilities and schedule. For more information on these great classes and to view the current schedule click here


Centre Wellington, Parks & Recreation Department brought back modified fitness programs to ensure participants and staff remain safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. All of our programs that have returned, follow or exceed the regulations set by the Province and Public Health Unit.


You must pre-register before entering the Elora Community Centre for a fitness class.  Click here to pre-register. Individual classes are only $8.70/class.

Fitness Membership $54.60 (HST Inc) per month.

Pre-Registration required. Proof of vaccination required as per O. Reg. 364/20. Face coverings required throughout the facility until ready to participate on the ice.


*NEW* Stick & Puck

Family Stick & Puck – Families with children of all ages

Senior/Adult Stick & Puck – Adults 18+

Tot Stick & Puck - Tots under the age of 6 and parent/guardians

Stick and puck is a self-taught program in a relaxed atmosphere to help develop hockey (or Ringette) skills at your own pace, in a comfortable setting.  Work on stick handling, shooting and skating skills. No scrimmages/games, slap shots or body contact allowed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own pucks. CSA approved helmets are required for all participants. Full equipment is recommended.

One parent/guardian is required to stay onsite and provide supervision from the designated viewing area for children who are 12 years and under.

A parent/guardian must be on the ice with their tot (under 6) at all times. 


Adult/Senior Skate 

The perfect time to skate if you’re over the age of 18. Skate at your leisure to some background music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. No pucks or sticks allowed. CSA approved helmets are highly recommended for all participants.


Family Skate

This public style skate is designed for families to skate in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. This skating time is ideal for children and those needing a controlled and comfortable place to work on skating skills and enjoy time with family. CSA approved helmets are highly recommended for all participants.


Public Skating Sponsorship Opportunities

Public Skating is expected to start soon. This site will be updated when Public skating has been scheduled. 


The Public Skating Sponsorship Program is on hold. We hope to bring it back next season. Please see the attached brochure for more information on advertising and sponsorship opportunities.

Day Camps

The 2021 Summer Day camp was a success! Thank you to our amazing coordinator, leaders, LIT's and Campers! We look forward to offering day camp again in 2022. 


The cost for the Summer Camp is $185.65 for a five day week or $149.70 for a four day week. These camps are geared to youth ages 6 – 12. The camp hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The ratio of staff to campers is 1:8.  All staff have First Aid, CPR and have completed leadership training.

Senior Fitness Programs

Senior Fitness Classes will be offered at the Elora Community Centre starting in September. Further details will be posted here when schedules have been confirmed. 


  • We have made changes to how we will run fitness classes to ensure participants are safe and physically distanced. Fitness classes will be held in the hall at the Elora Community Centre. Click here to view what you can expect when attending classes in Elora and the schedule for the first phase. There will be one fitness class offered each day at 10 a.m. from Monday to Friday. See below for detailed fitness class information.
  • All fitness classes require pre-registration which includes a waiver. To register, click here.

  • Please note, participants must be present 10 minutes before class start time. Please bring your own yoga mat, water bottle and indoor shoes. All other equipment provided, however, you are welcome to bring your own hand weights.

Program Registration
You can register for leisure programs within the Township of Centre Wellington, by one of the following convenient ways:
  1. In person at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex located at 550 Belsyde Avenue in Fergus
  2. Register Online (see further instructions below)
  3. By mail.  Make your cheque payable to: Township of Centre Wellington PO Box 58, Elora, ON  N0B 1S0

If you have an account already, simply select login, input your email address and click on forget password.  A temporary password will be sent to the email address you provided. You will then be prompted to create a permanent password.

If you DO NOT have an account, select create an account. Follow the prompts to create an account. Do not create an account if you have filled out a Registration Information Form or recently given your information to a Customer Service Representative.

You can register for activities, purchase/renew memberships, look up past courses as well as print receipts from your online account, register online now.

Classes with low enrolment will be cancelled approximately 1 week before programs start.  Register early to avoid having the program you want cancelled. 



  1. A full refund will be issued for all courses cancelled by the Township
  2. Request for refunds must be received 1 week prior to program start date
  3. No refunds will be issued within 1 week of the program start date
  4. Transfers will be accepted prior to 3rd class.  No transfers will take place beyond the 3rd class
  5. A $20 administration fee will be applied to refunds requested
  6. A $35 fee will be applied to NSF cheques and credit card payments
