Volunteer Opportunities
Victoria Park Seniors Centre (Must be 18 years of age or older)
If you have a few hours to spare each week and want to be involved in an active Seniors Centre or looking to make new friends, we need you! Current volunteer opportunities at the VPSC include:
- Program Committee members
- Special Events
- Cooking for a Crowd
- Dishwashers
- Kitchen Servers
- Food Prep (Tuesdays)

Fergus Grand Theatre
Be at the front and center of great shows and a wonderful community theatre! Volunteers at the Fergus Grand Theatre will have the opportunity to sell tickets, provide ushering opportunities and operate the concession stands. Current volunteer opportunities at the FGT include:

Festivals & Events
Centre Wellington is known for its amazing community events! From Canada Day to New Year's Eve and Doors Open, we have a number of events that can only be successful with the assistance of volunteers. This section will be updated as event volunteers are needed.
Fergus & District Horticultural Society
When you drive through the beautiful streets of Fergus, you can immediately tell that these volunteers take pride in their community. The mandate of the society is the promotion of horticultural education. Their regular meetings and shows encourage the study of cultivation, propagation, and the principles of design, while sharing common interests and fellowship.

This is the committee that puts our beautiful community on the map as one of Ontario's Prettiest Villages. The Elora & Salem Horticultural Society is very proud to be celebrating is 167th year. Everyone is welcome to come grow and learn with them.

Advisory Committees
The Township establishes advisory committees to fulfil a variety of mandates and to make recommendations to Council. Council relies on advisory committees to provide recommendations on pertinent issues throughout the municipality, and draws on the expertise of citizen volunteer members.
