Under Section 239.1 of the Municipal Act, you may request that an investigation be completed to determine whether a municipality or local board has complied with the Municipal Act or Procedural By-law with respect to a meeting or part of a meeting being closed to the public.
As of January 1, 2021, all Closed Meeting Investigations will be completed by the Ontario Ombudsman. Please see their website on how to file a complaint.
