Closed Meeting Investigator

Under Section 239.1 of the Municipal Act, you may request that an investigation be completed to determine whether a municipality or local board has complied with the Municipal Act or Procedural By-law with respect to a meeting or part of a meeting being closed to the public. 

Closed meeting investigation policy and a copy of the investigation request form  are also available from the Corporate Services Department.
