Members of the public who wish to make presentations to Council on their own behalf or on behalf of special interest groups or organizations are called "Community Delegations." Centre Wellington Council welcomes and encourages members of the public to comment on matters of interest to them.
Before you decide to appear before Council or a Committee, you are encouraged to discuss your concerns with Township staff. If your issue cannot be resolved, staff will assist you with the process of registering as a delegation.
If you are interested in addressing Council or Committee of the Whole as a delegation, please submit a Community Delegation Form. Staff in Legislative Services will review your request and schedule a date and time for the presentation. The completed Community Delegation Form will become part of the agenda and all of the information contained in the form, including names, will be available to the public through the meeting agenda.
If you wish to address Council regarding an item on the agenda, please contact Legislative Services.
For more information please review the Community Delegations Report or Council's Procedure By-law.
