Pool Closure

The pool will be closed September 2nd- September 6th, 2025, for pool and deck maintenance, reopening on Sunday, September 7, 2025. 

As part of the shutdown, the floor drains are being replaced in the whirlpool. Due to the extent of labour required, the whirlpool will remain closed until Friday, September 19, 2025.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Centre Wellington Fire Rescue Services is not currently recruiting Volunteer Firefighters for our Elora and Fergus Stations.


If you are interested in becoming a volunteer on-call firefighter, consider the following:
Volunteer Application Package 

Are You:

  • Physically fit and able to work under strenuous conditions
  • Able to attend regular training on week nights and some weekends
  • Able to obtain a DZ class license
  • Able to respond during day time and/or night time emergencies with no prior notice
  • Able to obtain the skills to control fires, assist in medical emergencies, and extricate patients safely

Do You:

  • Live within 3 km from the Elora or Fergus Fire Stations
  • Want to increase your income (Firefighters receive an hourly rate and benefits)
  • Want to learn valuable Life Skills
  • Enjoy helping others in their time of need
