Canada Day 2025 Celebration in Centre Wellington

The Township of Centre Wellington is thrilled to announce our vibrant Canada Day celebrations on July 1, 2025. With a fantastic lineup of events, there's something for everyone to enjoy. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing clubs and organizations that help make this day possible!

🎈 Here’s what’s in store:

🥞 Pancake Breakfast
Start your day with a delicious breakfast hosted by the Elora Volunteer Firefighters Association at 1 MacDonald Square, Elora, from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

🚗 Soap Box Derby
Cheer on local racers at this action-packed event hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington! Happening on David & Geddes Streets, Elora, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.  For more information click here.

🎉 Dominion Day Parade
Celebrate with colourful floats and community pride! Parade starts at 11:00 am from the Jefferson Elora Community Centre. Donations to the Food Bank will be accepted along the route.  Interested in participating? 🌭 Free Hotdog Lunch
Head to Bissell Park, Elora from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm for a FREE hotdog lunch, courtesy of the Elora Lions, the Township of Centre Wellington, and Geddes Street Market!

🦆 Duck Race
Hosted by the Community Resource Centre, this crowd-favourite race begins at 1:30 pm at Bissell Park. Who will be the fastest duck?  For more information click here.

💃 Fergus Celebrations
From 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, join the Rotary RAGAS eClub at the CW Community Sportsplex, Fergus, for an evening of cultural performances, live music by Paul Whitaker, and more! Enjoy tasty treats from the Groovy Grilled Cheese and SWAT food truck - there will also be themed Ice Cream!

🎆 Fireworks Show
End the day with a bang! Join us at 9:30 pm as fireworks light up the sky—brought to you by the Township of Centre Wellington.
