Ice Program Canellations/Changes for Spring 2024
- Stick and Puck cancelled on Monday, April 15 at 4:00pm
- Stick & Puck cancelled Wednesday, April 3 and 24 at 3:30pm
CSA approved helmets are required for all participants. Full equipment is recommended.
Stick and puck is a self-taught program in a relaxed atmosphere to help develop hockey (or Ringette) skills at your own pace, in a comfortable setting. Work on stick handling, shooting and skating skills. No scrimmages/games, slap shots or body contact allowed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own pucks.
Adult and Tot Stick & Puck
Families with young children or homeschool families wanting to work on hockey/ringette skills in a calm environment One parent/guardian is required to stay onsite and provide supervision from the designated viewing area for children who are 12 years and under. A parent/guardian must be on the ice with their tot (under 6) at all times.
Adult and Child Stick & Puck
The perfect time for children aged 6-11. One parent/guardian is required to stay onsite and provide supervision from the designated viewing area for children who are 12 years and under.
Youth Stick & Puck
The perfect time for youth aged 12-17 years old to work on stick handling, shooting and skating skills. No scrimmages/games, slap shots or body contact allowed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own pucks. Please pay at the Front desk to receive a skate band before going on the ice.
Adult/Senior Skate
The perfect time to skate if you’re over the age of 18. Skate at your leisure to some background music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. No pucks or sticks allowed.
Adult & Tot Skating
This skate is designed for families with young children and home school families wanting to skate in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. This skating time is ideal for children and those needing a controlled and comfortable place to work on skating skills and enjoy time with family. One parent/caregiver is required to stay onsite and provide supervision from the designated viewing area for children who are 12 years and under. A parent/guardian must be on the ice with their tot (under 6) at all times.
