Paid Parking
Paid parking is now in effect in Downtown Elora. Find paid parking locations, the cost to park your vehicle and time limits for parking.
When to Pay for Parking
Paid parking is in effect seven days a week from 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. including statutory holidays.
No payment is required after 7:00 P.M.
Cost
Paid Parking is $3.00 per hour in both Zones 1 and 2.
Zone 1 - $3.00/hour to a maximum of 3 hours. Switching parking spaces does NOT reset your permitted time.
Zone 2 - $3.00/hour to a daily maximum of $15.00/day. Parking not to exceed 24 consecutive hours.
Posted signs indicate the Zone. Payment is not transferable between Zones.
Time Restrictions
Zone 1: Short-term Parking - 3-hour maximum
Park for no longer than 3-hours at a time. You can return 5 hours after your first parking time.
Example: Parking in Zone 1 at 9:00 A.M., remove vehicle by not later than 12:00 P.M. Permitted re-entry at 2:00 P.M.
Zone 2: Long-term Parking - Not to exceed 24 consecutive hours
All other parking regulations still apply, including no overnight on-street parking between 2 A.M. and 6 A.M. for the months of November, December, January, February, and March.
15-Minute Quick Stop Spaces
Payment is not required. Spaces are signed. Maximum 15-minutes only.
Free Resident Parking
Residents can register their vehicles online here annually to continue parking for free in Downtown Elora. Registration can be completed online or in person at the Municipal Office during regular business hours. To register, residents must provide their license plate number.
