Aquatic Centre

The Aquatic Centre has a 25-metre lane pool with six swimming lanes.  The temperature is regulated at approximately 82 degrees.  The leisure pool with a water slide, water jet sprays and water umbrella for children doubles for therapy and rehabilitation classes.  The temperature is regulated at approximately 92 degrees.  A whirlpool with seating for twelve people is available during lane swims, adult leisure, public, family swims as well as after aquafit classes.  The temperature is regulated at approximately 100 degrees.  There is a viewing gallery adjacent to the leisure pool.  A family change room is also available.

Aquatic Centre CLOSURE

Staff are using the Provincial Lockdown to get things done! By having the pool closed to the public, staff were able to drain the pool completely to repair the grout in many areas. Due to this necessary work, our Aquatic Centre will be closed until mid-March, however it also means we won't need to close the pool again for these repairs in the future!  Thank you for your patience, we will advise when we can re-open to the public in the near future.

We plan to finish the final 2 weeks of our "Fall 2" session when we re-open.

We are planning to offer a Spring session for swimming lessons starting after the school boards' April Spring Break.
