CENTRE WELLINGTON – In response to recent trends that show an increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations, the province has made the decision to return to the modified version of Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen effective tomorrow, Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. for at least 21 days, subject to trends in public health and health system indicators.

Planting of TreeCENTRE WELLINGTON – This fall Centre Wellington received 10 large calliper trees generously donated by the Wellington County Green Legacy Programme for the Township to use for street tree planting. As part of an ongoing pilot project 5 native Ohio Buckeye and 5 native American Mountain Ash were planted on Township streets by staff.

In response to an increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations, the Ontario Government has moved the province to a modified version of Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen.
As of Wednesday, January 5 all Township facilities are closed to the public until January 26, 2022. Township staff will continue to serve residents via electronic means, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Township has approved its 2022 budget. The?approved tax rate increase?of?2.16?per cent translates to an increase of $27 on the annual tax bill for the average residential property assessed at $381,095.
