WatermainFlushing_Spring2022The Township’s Water Services Department will be conducting annual watermain flushing between May 16 th and June 3 rd .  Watermain flushing operations will be conducted overnight between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., Monday to Friday to reduce customer inconvenience. 
Over time, naturally occurring minerals found in our groundwater can build up as sediment in the pipes.  Watermain flushing is the process used to clean watermains of this sediment. ...

20211110_093519_resized CENTRE WELLINGTON - The Township is pleased to announce that the Fergus Wastewater Treatment Plant Secondary Digester Roof Replacement Project is complete, and the secondary digester is now back in service. 
The secondary digester is used to contain and treat wastewater sludge.  The digested sludge is also known as “biosolids” which contains essential plant nutrients and organic matter that is used as soil fertilizer.  The digestion...
