5999 Eighth Line E (Stovel & Associates)

the Township of Centre Wellington has received a complete application for a zoning by-law amendment pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. The Township’s file number for this application is RZ002-2026. The subject lands are known municipally as 5999 Eighth Line East, 6043 Eighth Line East and 7190 Sideroad 22, Pilkington.

The purpose of the proposed zoning by-law amendment is to change the zoning from “A” Agricultural and “EP" Environmental Protection to “M3-XX” Extractive Industrial Exception and “EP” Environmental Protection. The effect of the amendment is to permit the establishment and operation of a licensed aggregate extraction operation (gravel pit).
