Canada Day 2025 Celebration in Centre Wellington

Get ready for a day full of excitement, community spirit, and unforgettable memories! The Township of Centre Wellington is absolutely thrilled to announce our vibrant Canada Day celebrations on July 1, 2025. This year, we're bringing you a fantastic lineup of events that are sure to make your Canada Day a day to remember! A huge thank you to all the incredible clubs and organizations who help make this event possible.

Here’s what’s in store for you:

🥞 Pancake Breakfast
Kick off your Canada Day with a delicious breakfast hosted by the Elora Volunteer Firefighters Association at 1 Macdonald Square, Elora. Join us from 7:00 am to 11:00 am for a mouthwatering pancake feast!

🚗 Soap Box Derby
The race is on! Hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington, this action-packed event will take place on David & Geddes Street, Elora from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Grab a seat along the track and cheer on the brave drivers!

🎉 Dominion Day Parade
The Township of Centre Wellington is proud to present the Dominion Day Parade! The parade will feature vibrant floats and community spirit, with donations to the Food Bank accepted along the parade route. Interested in participating? Gather at the Jefferson Elora Community Centre prior to 11:00 am parade start and join in on the fun!  View Parade Route

🌭 Free Hotdog Lunch
Join us at Bissell Park, Elora for a FREE Hotdog Lunch, brought to you by the Elora Lions in partnership with the Township of Centre Wellington and Geddes Street Market! Come hungry and enjoy the lunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

🦆 Duck Race
Let’s make a splash! The Community Resource Centre is hosting the fun-filled Duck Race at Bissell Park, Elora, starting at 1:30 pm. Don’t miss your chance to see the ducks race to victory!

💃 Fergus Celebrations
Join us for an incredible evening of entertainment! From 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, the Rotary RAGAS eClub presents more exciting entertainment at the CW Community Sportsplex, Fergus. Get ready for a celebration full of energy and excitement!

🎆 Fireworks Show
The grand finale you’ve been waiting for! Fireworks will light up the sky at 9:30 pm, after a night of fun. Don’t miss out on delicious food from the Groovy Grilled Cheese Food Truck and the Endless Inspirations Food Truck, plus live music by Paul Whitaker at the CW Community Sportsplex, Fergus.
