Community Grants

Municipal Grant opportunities are offered by the Township of Centre Wellington to support the effort of many community groups each year.  

 Arts, Culture & Heritage Grant

As part of the 2022 Budget process, Council has approved a policy that allocates 5% of OLG Funds received in 2021 to an Arts Culture and Heritage Reserve Fund.  

It is anticipated that up to $61,000 will be available for Council to allocate through an Arts, Culture and Heritage grant application process.

The deadline for this grant was December 30, 2021.  Thank you to all who applied.  Council will review all eligible applications received subsequent to 2022 Budget approval during a regularly scheduled Council or Committee of the Whole meeting in early 2022.

 Community Grants
 Community grants are issued in support of various local community groups. 

Completed applications for financial assistance to not-for-profit organizations, on forms provided, will be received by the Manager of Community Development, Festivals, Culture & Tourism until 3 p.m. on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22ND at dsmith@centrewellington.ca

Application forms and the application policy may be obtained in the following ways:

Due to COVID, all grant applications must be submitted by email to the above email address.  NO PAPER COPIES WILL BE RECEIVED THIS YEAR.  Please attach the application in a pdf format; the proposed budget for your application as a separate pdf and any financial statements in a final pdf. 

 

All qualified applications will be considered during the 2022 operating budget deliberations, pending Council approval.

 Neighbourhood Wellness Grant

The goal of the Neighbourhood Wellness & Connectivity Grant is to bring neighbourhoods together and support wellness and connectivity throughout Centre Wellington.

The grant program will make available small grants (up to $1,000) per grant request, to resident-led groups to help them inspire their neighbourhoods with events held between May and December, 2022.
