Filming Notice - Elora

Visiting the Municipal Office in Elora between Friday, April 29 and May 2?

We are excited to share that filming for an upcoming production will take place at 1 MacDonald Square on the following dates:

Friday, April 26 & Monday, April 29 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Tuesday, April 30 & Wednesday, May 1 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Thursday, May 2, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

 

During these times (Friday, April 26 & Monday, April 29 - Thursday, May 2)

Parking directly in front of the building will not be available.

Access to the building may be delayed, however, on-site crews will assist visitors.

There will be a complete road closure at 1 MacDonald Square from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30 and Wednesday, May 1.

 

Any intermittent traffic stoppages/control will be conducted under the safe supervision of the Wellington County OPP Service.

Film crews and Township staff aim to minimize inconvenience while ensuring residents, businesses, and staff can still access necessary services during the filming period. We encourage residents to visit the Municipal Office before or after the filming period; however, we acknowledge that some may need to access services, therefore we encourage you to plan your visit accordingly and take into consideration parking limitations. Once you arrive at 1 MacDonald Square, on-site crews will assist your entrance into the Municipal office - we are still open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. regardless of filming.

Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Service (Ambulance)

When someone calls 911 for a medical emergency, Guelph-Wellington paramedics assess, may treat, and may transport the patient via ambulance to a hospital emergency department. Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Service provides this service in an efficient manner within legislation and Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards and is inclusive of call mitigations strategies.

Centre Wellington is home to Groves Memorial Community Hospital. The hospital, in partnership with the Township, engages in an active doctor recruitment program.

A variety of health services are available throughout the community including the Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health Unit
