Filming Notice - Elora

Visiting the Municipal Office in Elora between Friday, April 29 and May 2?

We are excited to share that filming for an upcoming production will take place at 1 MacDonald Square on the following dates:

Friday, April 26 & Monday, April 29 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Tuesday, April 30 & Wednesday, May 1 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Thursday, May 2, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

 

During these times (Friday, April 26 & Monday, April 29 - Thursday, May 2)

Parking directly in front of the building will not be available.

Access to the building may be delayed, however, on-site crews will assist visitors.

There will be a complete road closure at 1 MacDonald Square from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30 and Wednesday, May 1.

 

Any intermittent traffic stoppages/control will be conducted under the safe supervision of the Wellington County OPP Service.

Film crews and Township staff aim to minimize inconvenience while ensuring residents, businesses, and staff can still access necessary services during the filming period. We encourage residents to visit the Municipal Office before or after the filming period; however, we acknowledge that some may need to access services, therefore we encourage you to plan your visit accordingly and take into consideration parking limitations. Once you arrive at 1 MacDonald Square, on-site crews will assist your entrance into the Municipal office - we are still open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. regardless of filming.

After Hours Emergency

After Hours Non-Emergency

For non-emergency inquiries that do not require an immediate response, and occur outside of regular business hours, residents are encouraged to:
submit a service request through our Report It page. You will receive a response from staff during regular business hours. If you are unable to submit the request, please call 519-846-9691 x379 and leave a message and staff will return your call.


After Hours Emergency

If you are experiencing an after hours emergency situation related to roads, cemeteries, water or sewers, call 519-846-9691 and press option #2 where you will speak to a representative for assistance.
Examples of emergency circumstances include:
Cemeteries - immediate assistance during an after-hours burial
Roads - flooding over roads, blocked culverts, missing stop signs
Water - watermain breaks, no water
Sewer - sewer breaks, sewage flowing in a basement
