NOTICE: Potential Flooding in Low-Lying Areas
The Grand River Conservation Authority has informed the Township that flow levels from the Shand Dam are expected to reach significantly high levels after today.
This increase in flow may lead to flooding in low-lying areas along the Grand River, including properties on West Mill Street in Elora and the Downtown Elora Boardwalk (located behind the businesses on West Mill Street). Businesses and residents in the affected areas have been notified. We urge the public to exercise extreme caution around local waterways during this time.
