Culture Days 2025: Canvas of Cultures

Celebrating Diversity & Artistic Expression in Centre Wellington

Culture Days 2025 was a vibrant celebration of arts, culture, and community across the Township of Centre Wellington. Inspired by the Township’s natural beauty—from the Grand River to the iconic limestone cliffs—Centre Wellington once again showcased why it has long been a source of artistic inspiration. As A.J. Casson of the Group of Seven famously described it, Centre Wellington is “Ontario’s most beautiful,” a sentiment reflected throughout this year’s events.

Held from September 19 to October 12, 2025, Culture Days featured more than 85 free and pay-what-you-may events throughout the Township. Residents and visitors experienced a wide range of artistic offerings, including music, visual arts, theatre, dance, and hands-on workshops, celebrating the diversity and creativity of the Centre Wellington community.

The Township’s strong participation and community engagement were recognized nationally by Culture Days. Centre Wellington was named a Top Participating Community, tying for 4th overall in Canada and ranking 2nd among Small Municipalities. This achievement marks the third consecutive year that Centre Wellington has placed in the Top 10 participating communities nationwide, underscoring the strength of local collaboration and commitment to arts and culture.

The success of Culture Days 2025 was made possible through the strong partnership between the Township of Centre Wellington and the Elora Fergus Arts Council, along with the creativity and dedication of local artists, performers, makers, cultural organizations, volunteers, and community partners. Together, they brought unique perspectives to life and strengthened cultural connections across the Township.

Thank you to everyone who participated, attended events, and supported Canvas of Cultures. Together, we continue to celebrate the artistic spirit and cultural diversity that make Centre Wellington a vibrant, creative place to live, work, and visit.
