An Evening of Remembrance, Reflection, Action and Learning – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

CENTRE WELLINGTON – In partnership with Dalton Associates, the Township of Centre Wellington invites you to a special day of remembrance, reflection, action and learning in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

We are honoured to host Leo Stands Alone Strong Atlookan of Eabametoong First Nation, alongside his brother Elmer Atlookan. Together, this talented duo will offer:

• Cultural Teachings and Storytelling: Personal reflections on history and traditional ways of living on the land.
• Music and Dance: Artistry featuring the flute and hand drumming.
• Traditional Regalia: A visual display and explanation of sacred cultural attire.

Stay after the presentation for an exclusive meet-and-greet with Leo and Elmer.

• Time: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (two sessions)
• Location: Elora Centre for the Arts (75 Melville St, Elora, ON)
