Call for Talent: Just Play Returns to the Fergus Grand Theatre for Ontario Culture Days

CENTRE WELLINGTON – On Sunday, September 20th, the Fergus Grand Theatre is pleased to present its fifth installment of “Just Play,” an open-stage, all-ages showcase of local talent, starring you! The event is being presented as part of Ontario Culture Days in Centre Wellington. 

The theatre is looking for any aspiring singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, actors, stand-up comedians, or anyone else who has a talent they would like to share. Participants will get 15 minutes of stage time, at no cost, with basic technical support, to showcase their performance. Individuals, organizations, and even groups of friends are all welcome to apply. No previous performance experience is necessary, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Content must be suitable for an all-ages audience. 

As in previous years, there are three performances throughout the day for performers to choose from: 10am, 2pm, and 7pm. As part of Ontario Culture Days main purpose, all of the performances are free to attend.

Spaces have already begun to fill for all three performances, and applications will remain open until the end of August, or until all spots are filled.
