Centre Wellington Council Appoints Board of Directors for Economic Development and Tourism Municipal Services Corporation
CENTRE WELLINGTON – Council has appointed the inaugural Board of Directors for the Centre Wellington Economic Development and Tourism Municipal Services Corporation (EDTMSC), marking an important milestone in the implementation of the Township's new model for delivering economic development and tourism services.
The Board includes two members of Council, five community members selected through a skills-based recruitment process, and two non-voting Township representatives.

Non-Voting Members
- Dan Wilson, Chief Administrative Officer
- Adam McNabb, Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer
The EDTMSC is a Township-owned, non-profit corporation created to provide dedicated leadership for economic development and tourism while maintaining strong public accountability through Township Council. The Board will provide strategic direction and governance, while day-to-day operations will be led by the Executive Director, who will be hired in the coming months.

Together, they will help guide initiatives that support local businesses, strengthen our visitor economy, and advance Council's strategic direction of creating conditions for economic prosperity while ensuring strong public accountability. We also want to thank everyone who expressed interest and applied to be on the board. We received several strong applications, and we’re fortunate to have a community that is willing to share its time, expertise, and passion."
The EDTMSC will focus on implementing Council's Economic Development and Tourism Strategy, supporting local business attraction and expansion, strengthening partnerships, and managing tourism development in Centre Wellington.
