Checking In, Centre Wellington: Residents Invited to Share Priorities for the Future

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Township is inviting residents to participate in a new resident satisfaction survey, Checking In, Centre Wellington: Your Priorities for Centre Wellington’s Future.

The survey is an opportunity for residents to share their perspectives on the issues that matter most to them, including quality of life, community priorities, value for tax dollars, and satisfaction with Township services and programs.

Residents are encouraged to provide feedback on what they value most about living in Centre Wellington, the challenges and concerns they see in the community, and where they believe the Township should focus its future efforts and investments.

“Understanding residents' experiences, priorities and concerns is essential to making informed decisions for Centre Wellington’s future,” said Dan Wilson, Chief Administrative Officer.  “We hope that residents will take a few minutes to complete the survey and help identify the opportunities and areas of focus that will shape future planning, services and investments.”

The Township will use the Feedback to identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities.  Township staff will also be hosting a series of community pop-up events for residents to ask questions, learn more about the project and share their thoughts directly with project staff.  Upcoming pop-up events include:

  • Key Township Open House – Thursday, October 1, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., CW Community Sportsplex
  • New Resident Reception – Tuesday, October 6, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., CW Community Sportsplex
  • Elora Farmers’ Market – Saturday, October 10, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Bissell Park
  • Victoria Park Seniors Centre – Wednesday, October 21, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Victoria Park Seniors Centre – Wednesday, November 4, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Township staff are available to attend meetings and facilitate a session to help gather feedback from your group.
