Township Announces New Managing Director of Corporate & Legislative Services/Municipal Clerk
CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Township is pleased to announce the appointment of Tyler Sager as its new Managing Director of Corporate & Legislative Services / Municipal Clerk, effective May 4, 2026.
Tyler brings more than 13 years of progressive municipal experience in legislative services and municipal governance. He currently serves as Manager of Legislative Services / Clerk for Perth County, where he leads legislative services functions, supports Council and senior leadership, and advances governance practices through collaboration, accountability, and transparency.

Centre Wellington is a dynamic and growing community, and I am excited to bring my passion for good governance and public service to this role. I look forward to working alongside Council, staff, and residents to build on the strong foundation already in place and to help shape the future of this wonderful Township.”
As part of an organizational restructuring designed to strengthen internal service delivery, improve operational clarity, and support continued growth in corporate functions, the Township’s Corporate Services Department has been separated into two distinct departments: Finance & IT Services and Corporate & Legislative Services. The Finance & IT Services Department is led by Adam McNabb, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer, and the Corporate & Legislative Services Department is led by Tyler Sager, Managing Director / Municipal Clerk.
The Finance & IT Services Department will encompass Finance, Purchasing & Risk, and Information Technology & Services (IT&S). The Corporate & Legislative Services Department will include Legislative Services, By-law & Licensing, and Communications & Engagement.
“Tyler brings a strong combination of legislative expertise, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of municipal governance,” said Dan Wilson, Chief Administrative Officer. “His background in supporting Council, strengthening legislative processes, and fostering transparent and accountable decision-making will be a tremendous asset to the organization. We are very pleased to welcome him to Centre Wellington.”
The Township would also like to extend its sincere appreciation to Kerri O’Kane, Manager of Legislative Services and Municipal Clerk, who is retiring after more than 30 years in municipal government, including 20 years with the Township. Kerri’s extensive knowledge, leadership, and commitment to public service have made a lasting impact on the organization and community. She will be greatly missed, and we wish her all the best in a well-deserved retirement.
