Starting in August 2025, the Township of Centre Wellington is introducing a Priority Registration Policy for select recreation programs. This new policy gives Centre Wellington residents early access to sign up for high-demand programs before registration opens to non-residents.

The Township owns and manages a large range of assets on behalf of our community. Council approved the 2025 Asset Management Plan, a strategic document prepared by Township staff that provides a planned approach for managing and investing in the Township’s owned assets.

The Township is set to celebrate Canada Day in true Centre Wellington style, with all your favourite activities from previous years! Taking place on Tuesday, July 1, there is a fantastic lineup of events packed with community spirit.

The Fergus Grand Theatre is excited to once again offer Theatre Technician Training in a twelve-week course format starting in September.

The Township of Centre Wellington (Elora & Fergus Tourism) and the Elora Fergus Arts Council are once again working together to bring Ontario Culture Days to life in Centre Wellington!

The Elora & Fergus Downtown Shuttle Program is back again for 2025, now offering a Friday service along with the regular Saturday, Sunday, and statutory Holiday service as in previous years.
