The Township of Centre Wellington is once again thrilled to be participating in Ontario Culture Days, a three-week celebration of arts and culture themed “Canvas of Culture – Celebrating Diversity and Artistic Expression”, reflecting the rich diversity and artistic vibrancy that thrives within Centre Wellington

Every year on September 28, is the province-wide “Saved by the Beep” educational campaign – promoting the importance of having and maintaining working smoke alarms.

The Township is excited to invite the community to a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of the new Ecclestone Financial Group Playground.

Hey Centre Wellington, have you got talent? Of course you do - lots of it! Here’s your chance to show it off. On Sunday, September 28th, the Fergus Grand Theatre is pleased to present its fourth installment of “Just Play,” an open-stage, all-ages showcase of local talent, starring you!

Over the past several months, work has been ongoing in the Elora Green Space, ranging from improvements to the space, art installations, new chairs, and an overall enhancement of the cultural and aesthetic value of the space.

Starting in August 2025, the Township of Centre Wellington is introducing a Priority Registration Policy for select recreation programs. This new policy gives Centre Wellington residents early access to sign up for high-demand programs before registration opens to non-residents.

The Township owns and manages a large range of assets on behalf of our community. Council approved the 2025 Asset Management Plan, a strategic document prepared by Township staff that provides a planned approach for managing and investing in the Township’s owned assets.

The Township is set to celebrate Canada Day in true Centre Wellington style, with all your favourite activities from previous years! Taking place on Tuesday, July 1, there is a fantastic lineup of events packed with community spirit.
