Parking enforcement in the downtown cores of Elora and Fergus is maintained year-round.

3-hour parking will be enforced 7 days per week between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (subject to change).

The ParkSmart-Alpha Enforcement Team has been retained to provide parking enforcement services within the downtown core areas through December 2025.

No. Residents, tenants and business owners will have to register their vehicles online annually to continue parking for free in Downtown Elora.

  • All applications are subject to review.
  • Processing may take up to 2 weeks.
  • Until approved, you must continue to pay for parking in both Zone 1 and Zone 2.
  • You will receive an automated email once your exemption has been approved.

If you make a mistake, it will give you another try. Take your time—there’s no rush.
