Recreation Programs

In August 2025, Centre Wellington introduced a Priority Registration Policy for select recreation programs. This policy gives Centre Wellington residents early access to sign up for high-demand programs before registration opens to non-residents.

Priority Registration is in response to the growing demand for popular programs like pickleball, swimming lessons, day camps, and shinny hockey. Many residents have shared concerns about missing out on these programs due to limited space. Priority Registration will make sure local residents have fair access while still welcoming participation from non-residents.

The Township has updated the RZone – Respect and Responsibility Policy with current language and contact information to support Priority Registration.
