National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Join Dalton Associates and the Township of Centre Wellington for a special evening of remembrance, reflection, action, and learning in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

We are honoured to host Leo Stands Alone Strong Atlookan of Eabametoong First Nation, alongside his brother, Elmer Atlookan. Together, this talented duo will offer:

  • Cultural Teachings & Stories: Personal reflections on history and traditional ways of living on the land.
  • Music & Dance: Artistry featuring the flute and hand drumming.
  • Traditional Regalia: A visual display and explanation of sacred cultural attire.

Stay after the presentation for an exclusive meet-and-greet with Leo and Elmer.
