NOTICE: Annual Watermain Flushing

Between June 2nd and June 6th, the Township of Centre Wellington will conduct annual watermain flushing. 

Over time, naturally occurring minerals found in our groundwater can build up as sediment in the pipes.  Watermain flushing is the process used to clean watermains of this sediment.  This is accomplished by flushing high velocity water through fire hydrants.  Watermain flushing improves water quality and only clean water is used in the process. 

To reduce customer inconvenience, watermain flushing operations are conducted overnight, between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:00 am, Monday to Friday.

Water at your home may be discoloured after watermain cleaning. It is recommended that customers fully open their cold water faucets to flush this water out.  In most cases, the water should begin to run clear again within a few minutes. In cases where discoloured water or drop in pressure lasts for an extended period of time, please contact us at 519-846-9691 Ext 905.

Your energy, enthusiasm, and engagement helped bring the performances of The Three Musketeers by Dufflebag Theatre to life! We are so pleased to have shared this magical and educational live theatre experience with you.

We hope this program sparked curiosity, inspired creativity, and encouraged a lifelong love of the arts in our young audience members.

We look forward to creating even more cultural and educational opportunities at the Fergus Grand Theatre in the future—thank you for being part of this memorable event!
