For the first time in over 10 years, the Fergus Grand Theatre's March Break program is back.

The Township of Centre Wellington has received a Township-initiated application for a zoning by-law amendment pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. A public meeting regarding this application will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 1 MacDonald Square, Elora, Ontario.  

The purpose and effect of the proposed zoning by-law amendment is to modify the by-law provisions related to overnight accommodation, including hotels, motels, short-term rental accommodation, and bed and breakfast establishments. 

Heritage Week is celebrated annually across Ontario during the third week of February, this year falling on February 16 to 22, with Federal Heritage Day kicking off the event on February 16.
